FAISALABAD:

Deputy Commissioner (DC), Ali Shehzad said on Monday that cases would be registered against those who enabled dengue breeding in the district.

Chairing a meeting of District Emergency Response Committee for anti-dengue measures, the DC said that dengue had become a constant issue and for its elimination the society as a whole needed to make collective efforts.

Assistant commissioners were directed to hold bi-weekly District Emergency Response Committee meetings to check and monitor the performance of surveillance teams. The DC said the government was concentrating on the complete eradication of dengue, therefore, no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
