However, just because something is tricky to style, doesn’t mean you shouldn't try your hand at it! Several celebs have been opting for this trend, with fashionistas such as Naimal Khawar Khan and Zendaya styling the sequins to perfection! Naimal’s red-hot sari 

Leave it to Naimal to make a statement with desi festive wear! The former actor looked like something straight out of a dream in her deep red sequinned sari by ace designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha. Naimal styled the twinkling sari perfectly, opting for contrasting green jewellery that really elevated the look to a whole new level. 

The fashionista kept her makeup soft and minimal, a necessity when it comes to styling an outfit as loud as this. She kept her arms bare, ditching all jewellery save for a pair of drop earrings, wearing her hair down, gathered over one shoulder. 

Zendaya’s balancing act 

If you’re too afraid to go all-out like Naimal, you can opt for an outfit like Zendaya’s Academy Awards ensemble. The Dune actor went for a crisp white cropped blouse, pairing it with a statement silver skirt. The Hollywood star dazzled the red carpet with her look, keeping things balanced with the minimal top. 

Also, a rule of thumb when opting for sequins: Keep the jewellery to a minimum! Take a page from Zendaya’s book and opt for nothing more than a cuff on your wrist and teeny tiny earrings. 

Kriti’s understated sequins 

If you’re new to the trend and afraid of jumping into the deep end with a look as eye-catching as Naimal’s, opt for something with sequins placed a little further apart, like Kritis black on black sari. The Mimi actor opted for a black sari embellished with black sequins in floral patterns, leaving enough breathing space in between to keep things glitzy but not over-the-top. 

The actor opted for a classic smokey eye, which when paired with the black sari makes for a deadly combo (in the best way possible)! Kriti accessorised with some silver rings and gorgeous wavy hair falling over her shoulders. 

Kiara’s shimmery blue jumpsuit 

Now here’s a way to make a statement! Not only is Kiara’s jumpsuit a bright colour, but the structured shoulders and plunging neckline makes for a look that is bound to grab everyone’s attention on a night out! 

The vertical pattern in which the sequins are placed gives added length to the look, and is a perfect trick to make yourself look taller! In order to allow her outfit to do the talking, the actor wore her hair slicked back clean off her face and shoulders.
