Female TikToker held for shooting ‘friend’s husband’ in Peshawar

The accused allegedly invited the man to the house where his wife was residing and shot at him

PESHAWAR:

The Peshawar police arrested a female TikToker for shooting at a man and injuring him in the provincial capital on Wednesday.

Ishrat, known in the world of TikTok as King Khan, reportedly shot at her friend Sana's husband, who was shifted to a hospital.

She had allegedly invited the man she later shot at on the pretext of his participation in an ongoing jirga.

Shortly after, she was arrested and transferred to the women's police station of the city.

The man reportedly had soar relations with his wife who was staying at her TikToker friend's house.

Meanwhile, police claim to have recovered a 9MM pistol from the possession of the accused while further probe of the incident is underway.

The law enforcement agency said the accused had confessed to her crime during initial interrogation and added that a first information report (FIR) of the incident had been registered at the Shahpur police station.

In December last year, the adventurism of TikTokers cost a citizen his life in Karachi. The suspects involved in the shooting of a citizen in Malir a few days ago were arrested soon after.

According to a preliminary investigation, the suspects opened fire for an adventure. The weapon and a motorcycle used in the incident were also recovered from their possession.
