Fireworks, aerial firing banned on Shab-e-Barat

Police to take action in case of violation

The district administration and police have imposed a complete ban on fireworks, aerial firing and riding motorcycles without silencers, one wheeling on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.

The Rawalpindi City Police Officer and the deputy commissioner have issued strict orders of a crackdown on those selling firecrackers ahead of Shab-e-Barat.

Instructions have also been issued for the immediate arrest of persons selling firecrackers and the registration of cases against them.

Police across the district have been given instructions to arrest violators in their respective jurisdictions.

Police teams will continue the crackdown on a daily basis till the night of Shab-e-Barat.
