Clan clash: Prayer leader killed in dispute

SUKKUR: The pesh imam of a mosque was shot dead in Mehmood Brohi village within the limits of the Karim Bux police station near Thul on Wednesday. Gulzar Ahmed Brohi was on his way home after Taraweeh prayers when three men shot him and fled. The authorities took the body to a hospital but no case has been registered as yet. The villagers claim that his murder was the result of a matrimonial dispute between the Brohi and Jakhrani clans.
