It's raining love triangles in Bollywood! Karan Johar has announced his next production and it stars yet another star kid. Bedhadak will see Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor as a love interest for two youngsters; Indian TV actor Lakshya Lalwani and Guilty actor Gurfateh Pirzada.
We’re bringing to you a new era of love - one that’s filled with passion, intensity & boundaries that will be crossed…#Bedhadak!❤️

Sharing first a poster of Lalwani in the upcoming film Bedhadak, the ace filmmaker wrote, “Looks that will melt your heart just as easily as his smile will. Presenting Lakshya Lalwani as Karan in Bedhadak. Directed by the maestro of emotions, Shashank Khaitan!” Lalwani also took to his social media to share the news. The actor said that he will be portraying the role of Karan in the movie. His caption read, “I’m all set to dive into the world of ‘Karan’! Bedhadak. I’m so humbled and honored to kickstart this journey, need all your love and support!"
Later, the director-producer shared a poster of Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor from Bedhadak, and wrote, “Introducing the gorgeous Shanaya Kapoor as Nimrit in Bedhadak. An enchanting force to look out for, I can’t wait to see the energy she brings onto the screen!” Kapoor, too, took to Twitter and penned, "I am extremely grateful and humbled to join the Dharma Family with Bedhadak - directed by the brilliant Shashank Khaitan. I can’t wait to kickstart this journey, I need all your blessings and love!"

Johar also went on to share Pirzada's look from the movie. The ace filmmaker posted the poster from the movie and wrote, “His brooding good looks will have you smitten in no time! Watch Angad’s character come alive in Bedhadak with Gurfateh Pirzada bringing his effortless suave onto the big screen!” The actor later took to social media and expressed his gratitude. "I’m so exhilarated and honoured to work with Dharma on their new story Bedhadak - directed by the brilliant Shashank Khaitan. Presenting Angad, a character who’s going to be super special to me!"

However, this won't be the first time Johar will work on an overused trope in Indian cinema. He had previously helmed films such as Student of the Year (2012) and Student of the Year 2 (2019). Both installments kickstarted the careers of several Bollywood star kids; such as Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Ananya Panday.
And while we are talking about love triangles, how can we forget Johar's directorial debut, 1998 romantic comedy, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in pivotal roles.
