Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday approved the route plan for the party’s planned long march. The march will begin from Karachi and will reach Islamabad in ten days after passing through 34 different cities of Sindh and Punjab.
It will be led by the PPP chairman himself. The march will start from Mazar-e-Quaid on February 27 at 10 am and the protesters will reach Badin where they will spend the night. The protesters would resume their journey on February 28 passing through Hyderabad, Hala and Nawabshah and end its second day at Moro.
Marchers will reach Khairpur city on March 1 and end their third day in Sukkur. The long march would then continue from Sukkur on March 2 from where the protesters will reach Rahim Yar Khan.

On March 3, the PPP convoy from Rahim Yar Khan, passing through Bahawalpur and Lodhran will end its fifth day with a large public gathering in Multan.
The marchers will then head towards Sahiwal from Multan covering Khanewal and Chichawatni on March 4. Protesters will then make their way towards Lahore and enter the city on March 5 from Sahiwal via Okara and Patoki.
Bilawal Bhutto will address the participants of the march at Nasir Bagh in Lahore on March 6. The marchers will reach Sheeranwala Bagh and then Gujranwala where another public gathering will be addressed. The long march will end its activity for March 6 in Wazirabad.

The next day, on March 7, the caravan will leave Wazirabad for Lala Musa, where it will pass through Jhelum and Gujjar Khan before ending the day at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi.
The long march will then resume from Rawalpindi on March 8 and will reach Islamabad via different routes.
