Covid kills seven

1,101 new cases emerged when 14,276 tests were conducted in past 24 hours

As many as 7 more patients of Coronavirus died overnight lifting the death toll to 7,978 while 1,101 new cases emerged when 14,276 tests were conducted.

This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued here on Saturday.

He added that 7 more patients of COVID-19 lost their lives lifting the death toll to 7,978 that constituting a 1.4 per cent death rate.

Shah said that 14,276 samples were tested which detected 1,101 new cases that constituted 7.7 per cent current detection rate.

He added that so far 7,740,323 tests have been conducted against which 554,922 cases were diagnosed
