Golf: Scott boosts Australian Open field

SYDNEY: World number seven Adam Scott will join Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson at this year’s Australian Open. The Australian won the Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio earlier this month with a four-stroke victory over Luke Donald and Rickie Fowler. “To claim the Stonehaven Cup in one of the biggest years of Australian golf would be an unbelievable achievement,” said Scott, the 2009 winner.
