Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain recently made headlines after he went on a three-week trial in London this week for his controversial speech inciting violence in Karachi in 2016.

While leaving the court proceeding, the MQM founder, huddled by his security, briefly met popular TikToker Hareem Shah. As Hussain was about to leave the premises, Shah called out to him, to which the MQM founder responded and waved back at the social media sensation.

In the said video, Hussain said to Hareem, "May Allah keep you happy," to which Shah inquired about his health. Hussain then added, "I pray may Almighty help you through your trying times and keep you safe from all sorts of hardships, difficulties. May God bless you and may God give you a prosperous future."

Shah came into the limelight after a video of her in the PM secretariate went viral on social media. Since then, the TikToker has been embroiled in several controversies.

As for the MQM founder, Hussain has lived in self-imposed exile in London for more than two decades. He requested asylum in the 1990s and later gained UK citizenship. The Pakistani authorities have repeatedly demanded action be taken against him for inciting people in Pakistan to violence.
