Despite winter rains lashing the city over the past few days, shaadi season continues in full swing. After pictures of Saboor Aly’s dholki made the rounds on social media, triggering discussions over whether the actor was set to tie the knot with Ali Ansari soon, the couple recently shared pictures from their intimate mayoun celebration on their Instagram profiles.
Ali and Saboor posted adorable sneak peeks into the event, with the bride dressed in traditional yellow, paired with a contrasting red dupatta pinned on top of her head. Saboor completed the look with floral jewellery and orange bangles. Ali donned a white kurta for the ceremony along with a red phulkari dupatta in keeping with the traditional mayoun vibe.
The event was attended by Saboor’s celebrity friends, including actors Kinza Hashmi and Amar Khan, as well as model Rubab Ali and makeup artist Sara Ali. Videos from the mayoun were shared by Sara on her Instagram stories.
Saboor’s sister Sajal Aly was also present at the event, with a video of her dressed in a black outfit performing the mayoun ceremony doing the rounds on social media.
Earlier this month, Saboor looked radiant clad in a violet velvet outfit and a gorgeous pair of gajray at her first dholki, pictures of which were shared by Sara, Kinza and Amar via Instagram.
Ali and Saboor recently celebrated the wedding of the former’s sister Mariam, with the Parizaad actor taking to social media to call out people recording her and Ali without their consent.
