Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Nayef bin Falah Al-Hajraf would visit Pakistan on Wednesday (today) and hold delegation-level talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Foreign Office announced on Tuesday.
Qureshi had invited Al-Hajraf to visit Pakistan during the secretary general’s visit to Islamabad for the 17th Extraordinary Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers (OIC-CFM) on December 19, 2021.

During the visit on January 5 (today), Al-Hajraf will hold delegation-level talks with the foreign minister and meet the finance minister and the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Commerce and Investment, the Foreign Office said.
“The visit offers the two sides an opportunity to review mutual cooperation and take steps to foster enhanced collaboration in diverse fields, with a renewed focus on trade and economic relations between Pakistan and the GCC Member States,” it said.
