Few actors command the kind of widespread adoration and respect like Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. With followers all across the world, SRK’s massive fanbase continues to grow in all directions. Recently, an Indian professor was helped out by an Egyptian SRK fan simply because of her belonging to the same country as the Mein Hoon Na actor.

Taking to Twitter, Ashoka University Economics Professor Ashwini Deshpande narrated the encounter she had with a travel agent while in Europe, “Needed to transfer money to a travel agent in Egypt. Was having problems with the transfer. He said, ‘You are from the country of SRK. I trust you. I will make the booking, you pay me later. For anywhere else, I wouldn't do this. But, anything for SRK. And he did!"

After Deshpande’s tweet went viral, several users came forward with their own experiences. According to Filmfare, one user shared, "On multiple occasions during my daily commute in Argentina subway trains, whenever there was SRK on my phone screen on YouTube, a common question was, ‘Is that Mr Khan?’ It was indeed a proud feeling as an SRK fan."

It isn't just his obvious charisma onscreen that makes SRK the actor that he is. The actor is beloved by his co-stars, fans and followers. Many times, Pakistani actor Mahira Khan, who starred with SRK in the 2017 crime drama, Raees, recalled her working experience with him. And she had nothing but praises.

Speaking at the Faiz International Festival 2016, Pakistani actor Mahira Khan narrated the incident when she told her family about bagging her Bollywood debut. "What happened at my house was very funny. I rounded up everyone- my mom, my dad, my brother. It was late at night, I told them 'there is this film I want to do in India." Mahira made her Bollywood debut with Raees which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an important role.
