Man shot dead allegedly for reporting old case to police

TANDLIANWALA:

A man was shot dead by three persons over filing FIR over an old dispute on Saturday.

Police handed over the body to family after postmortem and registered a case against the suspects. The complainant, Muhammad Nadeem Tariq, told police that the suspects Usman, Ehtesham, Mohammad Fayyaz and four others had a quarrel with his brother a few days back for filing FIR against them over an old dispute.

The complainant said that his brother Muhammad Tariq was returning home from Satiana on a motorcycle with his wife Rukhsana Bibi, when Muhammad Usman, Ehtesham and Fayyaz stopped his brother to take a over filing FIR against them.

He told police that the suspect Ehtesham shot his brother.

He said that he was shifted to Civil Hospital Faisalabad in critical condition, where he died after struggling for life and resurrection.

Police registered a case against the suspects under section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and started searching for the suspects.
