Footage of snatching Rs3.5 million from car travelers on Khalid Bin Waleed Road last month went viral on social media.

Last month, four dacoits on two motorcycles near Ammar Tower on Khalid Bin Waleed Road in PECHS Block-2 within the limits of Ferozabad police station, robbed the family, travelling in a car, of Rs3.5 million in cash, mobile phones and wallets in a matter of seconds.

The footage of the incident, which went viral on social media, shows that a woman is helping an elderly person to get out of the car parked in front of the main gate of Ammar Tower while the driver is present in the driver's seat. In the meantime, four dacoits riding two motorcycles arrive and a dacoit, clad in pants and shirt, snatches valuables from the woman while the robber wearing a sky-blue shalwar kameez opens the boot of the car with lightning speed and takes out the bag of cash in it and escapes from the scene along with his other companions.

Case crime No. 992 of 2021 was registered by Ferozeabad Police under sections 397 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code and handed over to the Investigation Police.

According to the complaint, Muqtada Ahmed along with his father had withdrawn money from a private bank on Tariq Road and reached his elder brother's house at Ammar Tower on Khalid Bin Waleed Road that robbers took out the bag containing cash from the boot of the car and fled away.

The incident took place on November 22 at around 3.30pm and a case was registered by the Ferozeabad police on November 24.
