ABBOTABAD:

The Abbottabad district administration has continued action against the violation of the official price list, and the sale of open petrol and diesel.

The Abbottabad Assistant Commissioner Ameen ul Hassan, during a raid against vendors selling open petrol and diesel at high prices, sealed three shops.

He said that legal action would also be taken in the magisterial court.

The district administration also appealed to the masses to identify the shops and people who were selling open petrol, diesel and carnosine oil in their areas. Simultaneously, to ensure strict adherence to the price lists issued by the district administration, the Abbottabad Price Control Magistrates are vising their respective areas.

Abbottabad Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) inspected shops and markets of Thanda Choha and imposed fines on 2 Nan Shops for selling underweight Roti.

The AAC also imposed fines on 3 grocery stores and 2 butchers for violation of price list.

In the end, the district administration also urged citizens to contact the Control Room, through the Radio program or Citizen Portal Service, if they found any profiteer or hoarder in their area.
