Minor brutally murdered after sexual assault

KURIANWALA:

A minor boy was molested and brutally murdered while coming back from school on Tuesday.

Police seized the body and registered a case against the unidentified suspects under the provisions of molestation and murder.

The woman complainant told police that her seven-year-old son left home for school and did not return.

She told police that she tried to search for her son but was unable to find him.

She said that while searching along with the neighbours in the nearby fields, they found his body in the sugarcane field.

The complainant said that he was strangled to death by unknown individuals for fear of being caught.

Upon receiving the information, senior police officers including DSP rushed to the spot.

The police registered a case under Sections 302, 377 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC)

Sexual violence cases against children are not uncommon across the province. In Chak Jhumra, a minor girl was sexually assaulted at gunpoint. Reportedly, the compliant that his 15-year-old cousin left home for some shopping, when suspect Riaz and two others took her to an unknown place at gunpoint and raped her.
