Recruitment of intern teachers from next week

Local colleges to display merit list on Nov 29, interviews from Dec 4-6

RAWALPINDI:

The process of appointment of internee teachers on 10,000 vacant seats of professors and lecturers across Punjab will begin from November 27.

The Punjab Higher Education Commission has allowed all girls and boys colleges across Punjab to make temporary recruitment of local educated youth on all the vacant seats of professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers.

The recruitment committees comprising college principals and senior professors have been formed for these recruitments while educated transgender persons were also eligible to apply for these positions.

The local colleges will display the merit list on November 29 while interviews will be conducted from December 4 to December 6.

There is no age limit in the new recruitments while the teachers will be paid Rs45,000 lump sum.

The hiring will be done until May 31 until the completion of the academic session.

The salary of a day will be deducted on taking off without permission.
