Man nabbed for ‘raping’ teenage boy

RAWALPINDI:

New Town police have arrested a man accused of raping a 14-year-old boy. The accused kept the victim in solitary confinement and then tried to rape him again.

According to the police, the father of the victim submitted an application to the New Town police station that the accused Amir Abbasi had allegedly raped his 14-year-old son a few days back in a dairy shop and tried to rape him again after keeping him.

After registering the case, a team led by Newtown Station House Officer Inspector Mirza Javed Iqbal conducted a raid and arrested the accused Amir Abbasi. The victim has undergone a medical examination.

New Town Assistant Superintendent of Police said the accused would be challaned with solid evidence.
