Buzdar approves upgradation of prison vans

LAHORE:

The Punjab cabinet committee for finance and development on Friday approved upgrading police prison vans with a supplementary grant of Rs71 million.

The cabinet committee's 68th meeting was held under the chair of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.

Punjab chief secretary, additional chief secretary, chairman P&D, secretary finance, secretary primary and secondary health and others attended the meeting.

Reportedly, the meeting also approved the release of funds for newly constructed primary schools in Basti Dangu and Basti Khayaniwhet Union Council Barthi in tehsil Koh-e-Suleman.
