Of magical lands and evil jinns: 'Umro Ayyar' looks promising!

The film stars an ensemble cast of Usman Mukhtar, Sanam Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Simi Raheal, Manzar Sehbai and others

Over the last few days, we have seen many celebs and artists posting a certain symbol on their official profiles, with a simple caption, "Tayyar Ho?" While this had confused us earlier, we now know it was an impending announcement for an epic thriller! 

Umro Ayyar, reportedly Pakistan’s first Urdu comic book has now been turned into a film. The movie, slated to release in 2022, unveiled its first teaser. The 49-second-clip revealed the title of the project with intense music.

The film will star an ensemble cast of Usman Mukhtar, Faran Tahir, Sanam Saeed, Ali Kazmi, Adnan Siddiqui, Simi Raheal, Sana Fakhar, Manzar Sehbai, Daniyal Raheal, Salmaan Shaukat, Osama Karamat, Uloomi Karim, Asad Chaudhary, Atif Rehan Siddique, Muhammad Imran, Bilal Jutt, Ruman Ali and Shehroz Sanaullah.

"Of a magical land and evil jinns, of ancient lore and fights within, of modern visions and tales of glory! Tayyar Ho [are you ready] for this epic story?" the official Twitter handle of the film shared. Previously, Mukhtar had shared, "Legend became a myth, myth became a story and after hundreds of years, the legend awakens again."

The film is directed by Azfar Jafri. To say that we are excited, will be an understatement.
