Vaccination centre for special children inaugurated

Ministers reviewed arrangements, pace of vaccination at centre

Punjab health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid inaugurated a new vaccination centre as part of the reach Every Door Campaign with Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Mohammad Ikhlaque at the Special Education Department, Garden Town, here on Tuesday.

Present on the occasion were Secretary of Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Imran Sikander Baloch, Secretary of Special Education Department Saima Saeed, Special Secretary Saleha Saeed, TFP BMGF Dr. Naeem Majeed, DG of Special Education Department Pervez Iqbal Butt and other officials.

Children presented bouquets of flowers to welcome Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Special Education Minister Chaudhry Mohammad Ikhlaque.

Children from different institutions of the Special Education Department gave beautiful performances. They also displayed stalls of painting, handicraft, Mehndi and face painting. Both the ministers reviewed arrangements and pace of vaccination at the centre.

In her address, the health minister said, “I am greatly delighted to see such rich performances by these children and am thankful to the minister Special Education Department for creating this opportunity to interact with them.’’
