Federal Minister for Industries and Production Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar chaired a meeting on the progress of digitalisation and automation program of the Utility Store Corporation (USC) under the Digital Pakistan Initiative on Monday. On the occasion, MD USC briefed the chair on digitalisation program of corporation which would be completed by the end of November. He also informed the minister that USC had completed automation of utility stores in Islamabad region and 20% of the total sales are being done with minimal human intervention. He added that upon completion, the system would be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
