KARACHI:

Sindh Assembly Opposition Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh announced the 'Eliminate Corruption, Save Sindh' campaign on Saturday. He said the aim was to rid the masses of, what he called, a "corrupt PPP government".

Sheikh, who is also central vice president of PTI, made the announcement while addressing a party workers convention near Ghora Bari town of district Thatta.

A large number of political workers and local leaders from PPP and other political parties reportedly announced joining PTI.

Sheikh said Covid-19 played havoc on the global economy and the entire world was facing high inflation.
