On August 4, Police Martyrs' Day was observed across Pakistan to pay tribute to the sacrifices of police officers and personnel who laid down their lives for the protection of the country.
Special ceremonies were held in this regard and floral wreaths laid on the graves and monuments of police martyrs.
Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, while paying homage to the martyrs, had said that "Pakistan Police have made monumental sacrifices in the line of duty over the years, contributing immensely in bringing peace and stability to the country".
