The glittering night, hosted by actor Maniesh Paul, saw performances by the likes of Nora Fatehi among others. It also marked the first big entertainment event for Eastern celebrities since the Covid-19 pandemic erupted. “This night is symbolic that art has no boundaries or knows no nationalities. I am looking forward to see all the actors from Bollywood, Pakistan, and Arab cinema come together,” actor Vivek Oberoi was quoted by the outlet as saying.

And while Kajol took home the Powerhouse Performer over Two Decades trophy, more than 40 awards were presented to artists from Bollywood, Pakistan and Arabic cinema.

Swapan Chakra | 3 years ago | Reply Pakistan was born and defined by the hatred for India. How do Pakistani Celebrities attend and receive FilmFare Awards which is a India Award. This is a freaking double standard by Pakistani who has severe enmity with India but need money and recognition from India.
