Police say suspect ring leader of so called Seraiki Group

The Shahra-e-Noorjahan police arrested two suspects including one identified as Amir Jadoogar who is stated to be the ringleader of Seraiki Group, a gang of street criminals.

Shahra-e-Noorjahan Police Station SHO SI Aftab Abbasi along with his police party conducted a raid in North Nazimabad Block-Q on the night between Wednesday and Thursday and arrested Jadoogar and his accomplice Shahzeb.

Jadoogar or magician, had earned the alias due to his skill of breaking locks of motorcycles and hotwiring the two wheelers in seconds, Abbasi said terming his arrest a relief to the residents of the area.

Police seized two 30-bore pistols with six bullets from the suspects, besides a stolen motorcycle, and 30 cell phones and wallets allegedly snatched from citizens.

According to police, the suspects, involved in dozens of street crimes in Central district, were arrested with the help of CCTV footage.

The suspects, during the interrogation, have confessed to having committed several crimes, police claimed.
