Conflict escalated so much that parties resorted to firing

An elderly woman died and a 70-year-old man was injured in an incident of firing during a dispute between neighbors over a minor issue in Iqbal Town on Wednesday.

The incident was reported near Shah Noor Studio where the neighbors came in front of each other over an exchange of harsh words with each other.

The conflict was escalated so much that the parties resorted to firing. As a result, an elderly woman and a man received bullet injuries.

They were shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced the victim Sabran Bibi as brought dead.

The victim Baba Naji was undergoing treatment at the hospital.

On information of the incident, a police team reached the spot on information and removed the body to morgue for autopsy.

They also collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses. Police said that they were searching for the suspects
