Woman sexually abused by ex-husband

Victim claimed suspect received money from people and forced her into adultery

KURIANWALA:

A man sexually abused his ex-wife after abducting her at gunpoint under the pretext of meeting their son on Thursday.

Police have registered a case against the suspect and started raids to search him.

The complainant told the police that she was married to the main suspect of the crime Faisal, a resident of Samana Pul. The victim said she has a son named Moiz who was under the custody of the suspect.

She said while returning from her cousin, she received a call from her husband where he insisted her to meet her son. She said when reached at her ex-husband’s house, he forcibly took her to a house in Hassanpura Dadiwala where the suspect Hamza resident of Satiana Road and four others raped her.

The victim said that after abducting her, suspect Faisal took money from different people and forced her to commit adultery with them for twenty days. On her refusal, the accused snatched her gold earrings and threatened her to kill her son. Reportedly, Madina Town Police have registered a case against the accused under 376 Section of Penal Code of Pakistan (PCP) and started raids to arrest them.

In June, a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by her ex-husband, along with his friends in Dijkot. The suspect kidnapped his ex-wife on gun point from her from home and raped her over taking divorce from court.

Police have registered a case under Section 376(Punishment for rape) Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against five suspects and started raids to arrest them.

An action has been taken in the case filed by daughter of Hussain, a resident of Jalvi Market that she was married to Ali Raza, a resident of Khan Model Colony, Dhadiwala.

The victim said, “I was fed up with domestic disputes and filed for divorce through court on April 13 and got separated from my spouse forever. I was pregnant when I left him and started living in my parent’s house. Ali Raza, my ex-husband, entered my parents’ house at 9:00 pm on July 5, armed with a weapon and forced me into a car and took me to a secluded place.”

The suspects including Ali Raza and his accomplices then intoxicated the victim. “When I resisted, I was tortured in the condition of pregnancy,” the victim added. Incidents of murder involving marital disputes were not uncommon in the province.

Earlier this year in April, A man killed his ex-wife to death who took divorce from him while two unidentified suspects tortured and stabbed two people to death in the district. Police handed over the woman’s to her heirs and started searching for the heirs of two bodies.

According to the police report, a man allegedly shot dead his ex-wife over the resentment of his divorce on Wednesday. 38-year-old Noorin Kausar, a resident of Millat Town, used to quarrel with her husband Sajid Khan on a daily basis on which she took divorce from the court.
