ISLAMABAD:

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started considering the decision to stop the Kabul flight operations, in the wake of interruption in flight operations and lack of cooperation from the Afghan government.

The national flag carrier is one of the few airlines operating flights to the neighbouring country. According to media reports, the PIA is also facilitating the international community in facilitating evacuation efforts and relief goods supplies to the country.

Sources said on Wednesday, the national flag carrier would take the decision related to halting flight operations in the coming days. They added that authorities have decided to take up the matter with higher authorities.
