Police register case, launch hunt for suspects

A teenage girl was allegedly gang-raped in the city on Sunday.

Police registered a case and started raids to arrest the suspects. In the case filed by Muhammad Rafi, the son of Muhammad Irshad, a resident of Jaranwala Road 72GB, it was stated that his wife and 13-year-old daughter, were alone in the house.

Meanwhile, the complainant’s wife Khalida Bibi went to the doctor to take medicine and did not return for a long time. Taking advantage of the situation, the suspect identified as Talha went to the complainant’s home and knocked at the door.

When the complainant’s teenage daughter opened the door, the suspected claimed that the victim’s mother was very ill and she was waiting for her near their house.

Meanwhile, the suspect Talha lured her to the mansion on his motorcycle where he along with an unknown accomplice allegedly gang-raped the girl. After hearing the rape victim's screams, Muhammad Abbas and other locals entered the residence after which the suspected rapists fled the crime scene.

Police registered a case and started raids to arrest the suspects.
