Capacity Building: Pakistani doctors to get training in British hospitals

Pakistani doctors will get on-job training with attractive stipend in renowned British colleges and hospitals.

Under agreements recently signed between College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and British institutions, Pakistani doctors will get on-job training with attractive stipend in renowned British colleges and hospitals.


This was stated by CPSP Controller Examinations Prof Muhammad Shafi and Regional Director Prof. Rizwana Chaudhary in a press statement issued here on Monday.

Prof. Shafi said that under the recently signed agreements, Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) trainees of Pakistan and those who have completed their FCPS will get on-job training in UK Royal College London, Emergency Medical College UK and the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

He informed that the programme is being led by CPSP President Prof. Zafarullah Chaudhary,
