Girl fights back attempted kidnapping

Police have so far failed to identify the suspects despite taking out the safe city cameras footage

ISLAMABAD:

A girl fought back an attempted kidnapping and escaped to safety on Tuesday in G-9 Markaz in the limits of Karachi Company police station.

Farah told the police that she was heading home from G-9 Markaz when two suspects, later identified as Asad and Umar, tried to kidnap her by pushing her into their car. She alleged that the suspects slapped her and tried to tear her clothes when she resisted.

She told the police that the alleged kidnappers did not let her go until she screamed for help and jumped out of the car. The suspects followed her and threatened to open fire, however, she escaped to safety. Sources said that the police have so far failed to identify the suspects despite taking out the safe city cameras footage.
