KARACHI: The general secretary of Mohajir Qaumi Movement- Haqiqi (MQM- H) Afaq group announced on Monday that he has decided to leave his party along with other members to rejoin the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) led by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.

Speaking at the Karachi Press Club, Nadeemul Islam said that joining MQM-H led by Afaq Ahmed was a 'huge mistake' as it conflicted with the MQM’s mission.

He urged Altaf Hussain to forgive him and take him back in his party.

Islam also blamed Afaq of conspiring against the MQM and said that he wants to see the faction disbanded.

Islam did not specify how many members of his former party have defected from MQM-H along with him.
