COAS assures AJK premier of full support to Kashmir cause

AJK premier appreciated Pakistan Army's contribution towards the security and development of AJK

ISLAMABAD:

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday assured Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi of the army's full support and commitment to the Kashmir cause and its people.

Gen Bajwa congratulated the AJK PM, who called on the army chief, on the assumption of his new office and expressed his best wishes for the prosperity of the region.

During the meeting, the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) including continued Indian unilateralism and situation along the Line of Control (LoC) was also discussed.

The army chief, during the meeting, also chief paid tribute to Syed Ali Geelani for his historical and selfless struggle for Kashmiris' right to self-determination.

The AJK premier appreciated the Pakistan Army's contribution towards the security and development of AJK.

Khader | 3 years ago | Reply Pakistan says that war is not a solution to solve Kashmir Issue. Then what is the solution Enacting occasional dramas will not help.
