Hepatitis programme launched for Balochistan

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar inaugurated the 'Balochistan's Free Hepatitis Programme' on Friday.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Chairperson of Sarwar Foundation, Begum Parveen Sarwar and Dr Gul Sabeen Khan from Balochistan.

On the occasion, Governor Sarwar said providing basic amenities including health and education to the people of Balochistan was the top priority of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said the whole nation salutes the people of Balochistan for fighting against terrorism and their contribution in the progress and stability of the country.

During his visit to Quetta, the Punjab governor met with his counterpart Syed Zahoor Agha and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri at the Governor House Quetta.

They discussed various issues including provision of better health facilities and clean drinking water for the people of Balochistan.
