One killed, female pilot injured in PAF plane crash
The PAF said its plane was on a routine training flight this morning in the Kor-Kot area when a technical fault occurred.
The pilots managed to eject from the plane using a parachute and are safe.
However, reports from the area suggest one of the pilots, a lady flying officer, was injured while landing on ground.
The injured pilot had been taken to the PAF hospital in Mianwali. One civilian was reportedly killed in the ‘blast’ which occurred after the crash, Express 24/7 reported.
Local administration had cordoned off the area and began relief activities.
Army and police had directed the locals to stay away from the site of the crash.

@Ali: Don't ask silly questions, biraadar! Don't you know, the male are disposables for a society. And equality is only meant for the ladies. You and I, on the other hand are meant to be chivalrous. For all you know, the person editing this thread, is a sister. And she has been 'empowered' to put you and me in our place. Sure, makes you feel proud to sign up for the defense of your country, doesn't it. . There was a series of two articles by an IAF senior ranking officer. I wish I had the links to provide it here. He roundly refuted, logically, not in a sexist way, uber macho style, diatribe; the serious financial and operational cost of this gender tokenism. But, you think, anyone would care. Nooo! The Supreme Court of India, passed a directive last year, to force the IAF to treat 'women cadets' equally. Go figure! Those judges think, that flying a jet into combat, is like videogame. Just press the buttons, and things happen. I figure, you know a thing or two, about the technicalities, so I will let you grin and rue in silence. Welcome, to the new world. But, good that you raised the question. It won't last too long. It requires too much resource to keep these charades up. And one thing for defense is sure ... there is always less money to go around.

Why make this issue base on superiority or inferiority of sexes? Secondly on the type and the origin of the country that produced the aircrafts. Every day or night Japanese originated cars meet with accidents across the world do we have say further on that. Hats Off to the brave young Woman who had the courage not to panic and eject from the plane. Now it depends on Moral Courage of both to admit their fault and the show of tolerance from the higher authorities towards the fair-sex as not discourage other young women from entering the field as (GD) pilots.
accidents are accidents, we just say sorry, no technical comments, just am sorry for the victims.
According to the PIA wesite which also talks about military aviation matters, it was a Chinese-built FT-7 which is a twin pilot trainer. Apparently both pilots ejected safely and are now in hospital because of ejection-related injuries. That is quite common.
There is nothing "cheap" about these aurcraft. They are very sturdy.
Next we will hear that the Sino-Pak JF-17 Thunder is "cheap" if one should crash. The PAF safety record is not perfect but it is not a bad one either. Accidents, especially during training will happen.
The JF-17 is just as good as the US-built F-16 and costs one-third less.
Had the other pilot sustained injuries during ejection, would the headline be "One killed, male pilot injured in PAF plane crash?"
Thanks God, human life is more expensive than aircraft. She exposed efficiency and God blessed her.

...is this the same chinese aircraft which is called a Flying Coffin??? if so, both pilots were lucky to escape...i hope without much damage

If the pilot ejected why didn't she eject too? Or did she sustain injuries subsequently.

I did not know that IAF call this aircraft a 'flying coffin'. The PAF seems to have flown this aircraft to good affect.
This is reported to be F-7 fighter aircraft, which is Chinese version of Russian MIG 21. MIG 21, is the most notorious fighter with respect to accidents and known as "Kaffins" in Indian Airforce.
I think that was a training mission.
