Gujar Khan police nab extortionist

The suspect also threatened the citizen of dire consequences over non-compliance.

The Gujar Khan police have arrested an extortionist who demanded Rs10 million from a citizen and threatened him with dire consequences.

Sheikh Umar had lodged a complaint in June in which he said that he was travelling to Sialkot with Ahsan Zia and Saleem Masih.

Another man in the car, identified as Muhammad Iqbal, threatened them and demanded Rs1 million from the complainant. The suspect had threatened dire consequences upon non-payment of extortion.
