Cycling: Mahmood wins Jashane Azadi Race

Covering a distance of 50 kilometres from Lahore to Kasur in one hour, 20 minutes and 23 seconds.

Pakistan Army’s Asad Mahmood won the Jashane Azadi Road Cycle Race covering a distance of 50 kilometres from Lahore to Kasur in one hour, 20 minutes and 23 seconds. Shahid Imran, also from Pakistan Army, secured second position after clocking in a time of one hour, 25 minutes and 49 seconds, while Punjab’s Mohammad Ashfaq ended up third. Besides Pakistan Army, 150 cyclists from Wapda, Punjab, as well as various districts of the province took part in the event.
