Tragedy: Boy commits suicide after failing exam

Teenage boy shoots himself in the head after failing in his Matric examination.

GILGIT: A teenage boy, who failed in his Matric examination, shot himself dead, police and other sources said.

Shahid, a resident of Gojalty village of Yaseen valley, died immediately after he shot himself in the head, said Mohobat Hussain, a resident of the same valley.

According to the police he was taken to the hospital but succumb to his injuries before reaching the government hospital in the valley. He was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyards. Further information could not be obtained due to poor communication in the remote area.
