A civil court of Rawalpindi awarded week-long physical remand to the double murder suspect who stabbed 30-year-old Naseem Bibi as well as her fourteen-month-old son to death.
The suspect was brought to the judicial complex by Chauntra police under tight security on Wednesday. During the hearing, the suspect confessed to his crime.
The police sought a week-long physical remand of the suspect. The officials said they needed to recover the murder weapon used for killing the mother and son along with the reason for committing the heinous crime.

The deputy public prosecutor ranged himself with the police’s demand. Following this, the court awarded a week-long physical remand to the suspect and sent him to jail.
Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Ahsan Younas had claimed that the tragic murder was a challenge to the police.
