Efforts have also been made in the past to install CT Scan, MRI and mammography machines for the hospital, however, none of these machines could be installed. The last endeavour was undertaken by former executive director Dr Shoaib Khan two years ago who was successful in approving a grant of Rs538 million for the purchase of these machines.

Subsequently, PC-I of the project was prepared and sent to the ministry of health but the matter was deferred after the retirement of Dr Shoaib Khan. Now the current executive director Shahid Hanif started working afresh on the issue after which the ministry of health has issued a formal grant for the installation of these machines.
