Youth killed over monetary dispute

Incident occured following a quarrel over the payment of a petty amount

LAHORE:

A young man died after he was hit by a brick in Shera Kot on Monday. Reportedly an incident of dispute took place between two persons in Shera Kot over a financial matter. According to the police report, Afaq and Suleman had a dispute with each other reportedly over payment of a petty amount. On the day of the incident, the two exchanged harsh words and then started fighting with each other. Reportedly, Suleman hit the victim Afaq with a brick.

He suffered serious injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital but could not survive. Police shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. Police said that they were investigating the matter.
