Suspect who filmed gruesome murder for Ladi gang held

Law enforcement agencies arrested another suspect on Saturday during an intelligence-based operation under way against the Ladi gang.

The number of gang members arrested has risen to 13.

According to sources, Ismail, a key member of the Ladi gang, was arrested during an operation near a cement factory.

The suspect is involved in the brutal act of making a video in which a citizen's arm, nose and ears were cut off.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had ordered action against the Ladi gang after the incident.

Meanwhile, on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Home Affairs Additional Chief Secretary Momin Ali presided over a meeting at Commissioner's Office in Dera Ghazi Khan.

Dera Ghazi Khan Division Commissioner Dr Irshad Ahmed, RPO Muhammad Faisal Rana, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Ejaz, DPO Umar Saeed, the Koh-e-Sulaiman political assistant and Border Military Police Commandant Hamza Salik along with officials of Rangers, police and other important agencies attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the situation and measures taken against the Ladi gang.
