Govt working on transforming Pakistan's geo-politics to geo-economic policy: FM Qureshi
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday said that the federal government was working on the transformation of Pakistan's geopolitics to a policy of geo-economics.
The foreign minister's remarks came while he was talking to the media in Multan during which he said that a Regional Economy Policy Division was being established at the foreign ministry to bring investment in the country.
"We are introducing innovation in diplomacy using digital technology which will produce positive results," he said.

About the Afghan peace process, FM Qureshi said Pakistan was playing the active role of a facilitator for peace in Afghanistan and the country's stance had been acknowledged that there was no military solution to the conflict.
"So far, 47 per cent withdrawal of foreign troops has been completed," the FM said.
Regarding the Palestine issue, the foreign minister said Muslim countries will have to forge unity to stop Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
He said we will continue efforts for permanent peace in Palestine.
