Home minister, chief secretary direct LEAs to devise a plan for peacekeeping

The Balochistan government has taken notice of the killing of a Hindu businessman in Khuzdar, issuing instructions to law enforcement agencies to devise a comprehensive plan for peacekeeping in the province.

Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau and Chief Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana chaired a high-level meeting on the law and order situation in the province.

The home minister was briefed on the current law and order situation, the overall strategy and strategy of the law enforcement agencies.

The chief secretary directed the law enforcement agencies to devise “a comprehensive plan for peacekeeping to crackdown on law breaking elements”.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Majeed Nasir, IG Police Muhammad Tahir Rai, Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner Bashir Ahmed Barech and Khuzdar DIG Javed Malik were in attendance through video link.

The participants gave a detailed briefing on the incident and the law and order situation. The local administration was directed to increase the patrolling of Levies, police and FC in their respective areas.

“Police, Levies, FC and other agencies are performing their duties well,” the home minister said.

“Develop strategies to prevent crime,” Chief Secretary Balochistan Motahar Niaz Rana said.
