MUZZAFARABAD:

Rich tributes were paid to Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) martyrs in a ceremony held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) capital, Muzaffarabad on Sunday.

Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) and Voice of Victims (VoV) jointly paid glowing tributes to Shaheed-e-Insaniat Abdul Ghani Bhat, Shaheed-e-Millat Maulana Muhammad Farooq, Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone and Hawal martyr on their martyrdom anniversary which was observed across IIOJK with the pledge that Kashmiris will never make any compromise on their right to self-determination struggle.

The martyred leaders' meritorious services towards the ongoing IIOJK freedom movement and Kashmiri society will be remembered forever, said Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmad Bhat.

"The best way to pay tributes to our martyrs is that we should continuously and tirelessly pursue the cause of our freedom struggle and ought not to indulge in any such activity which has any possibility of harming or damaging Kashmiris’ precious and countless sacrifices which they rendered for the implementation of UN resolutions to decide about their future,” Bhat added.

He said that Abdul Ghani Bhat, Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq and Ghani Lone were martyred by Indian agents to weaken the ongoing liberation movement in IIOJK.
