22-year-old student gunned down in Kech

QUETTA:

QUETTA. A 22-year-old student of Karachi University was killed by unidentified men in Balochistan’s Kech district late Sunday night.

Police identified the student as Yasir who hailed from Silo Tehsil Buleda and was currently enrolled in the Geology department of Karachi University. He had returned back home a few days ago to spend Eid holidays with his family in his native home town.

According to sources familiar with the matter, unidentified men had called Yasir outside his home and he was later found dead nearby. The motive behind the killing of the youth could not be ascertained immediately.

Levies have lodged a case against unidentified miscreants and begun investigation into the matter.
