Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal's name was included in the Exit Control List (ECL) on Friday, following the approval by the federal cabinet in this regard.
Iqbal's name was included in the no-fly list following the National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) plea. The top graft-watchdog has been probing his alleged involvement in the Narowal Sports City Complex case.
According to the reference filed against him, the PML-N leader invested 90 per cent of the funds of the inter-provincial coordination ministry in Narowal.

It further stated that the accused deprived the country of the funds to cement his own position, and used his powers wrongfully.
Responding to the development, Iqbal said, "NAB already has my passport, how is it possible for me to fly abroad".
Earlier today, Lahore High Court ordered the removal of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif's name from the blacklist.
Shehbaz has reportedly made arrangements to leave for London for medical treatment following the removal of his name from the list.
