Robbers run amok in Rawalpindi

Citizens deprived of 16 motorcycles, two vehicles, over a million rupees in cash

The garrison city reported a spate of thefts as citizens were deprived of cash, valuables, two vehicles and 16 motorcycles in fifty different incidents of robbery, burglary and snatching.

According to details, armed suspects stole Rs550,000 from the shop of a Waqas within the limits of the Ganjmandi police station.

In two separate incidents within the limits of Purudhai police station, Israr's mobile phone and 75,000 cash snatched, while the mobile phone of Noorul Amin was also taken at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Matthew was deprived of his mobile phone in the Newtown police station limit.

In two separate incidents reported within the Sadiqabad police station, Rs60,000 cash was snatched from Wasim and Rs250,000 was looted from Zeeshan. Similarly, Rs35,000, a motorcycle and a mobile phone were snatched from citizens within the limits of Naseerabad police station. Rs40,000 and a mobile phone were snatched from Saad's shop within the limits of Naseerabad police station. Moreover, cash and mobile phones were looted from citizens within the limits of the Civil Line police station. RS12,000, motorcycles and other valuables were also looted from a Sulaiman within the limits of Taxila police station. Adnan's mother was deprived of jewellery worth Rs100,000 within the limits of the Taxila police station.

In three separate incidents within the jurisdiction of the Saddar Wah police station, cash and a mobile phone were snatched from Shahbaz and two mobile phones were snatched from Samar and Wajid. Within the area of the Gujjar Khan police station, armed criminals stole cash and other belongings worth Rs100,000 from Chaudhry Zubair. Ayaz's vehicle was stolen within the ambit of the Cantt police station area, while Sabteen's vehicle was stolen within the limit of the Saddar police station.

Shafaqat, Munir and Faisal and Noman were deprived of motorcycles in four different incidents within the limits of Sadiqabad police station.

Besides this, Faizab Khan's motorcycle was snatched within the limits of Naseerabad police station, Khalid's motorcycle within the limit of Aarey Bazar police station, Maqsood's motorcycle within the limit of Civil Line police station, Usman's motorcycle within the limit of Airport police station, Vakil's motorcycle from Taxila police station and Aleem's motorcycle from Saddar area, Rawat police station.

Shahid's motorcycle was snatched within the limit of Kahuta police station and Akram's motorcycle with the area of Kahuta police station. Two mobile phones and Muhammad Shehzad's jewellery was taken within the limits of Taxila police station.

Jewellery and other items were stolen from Sajida's house within the limits of Rawat police station. Younis' mobile phone, two goats of Latif, clothes and other items worth Rs500,000 were stolen from Suleiman's house.
